AOM230 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems Calibration

During this two day IMI accredited course delegates will learn how to calibrate and maintain ADAS systems found on many modern vehicles. The course satisfies the requirements for insurance approved repairs.

Course is suitable for:
• Experienced Technicians with a good working knowledge of modern vehicles looking to further their knowledge

Modules covered:
• Introduction to and identification of ADAS systems
• ADAS legislation and codes of practice
• Types of calibration
• When & why calibration will be needed
• Importance & relevance of vehicle alignment and Geometry, including principles of alignment
• Health and safety considerations relating to ADAS
• Current technologies and future developments of ADAS
• Practical training in calibrating a vehicle in the workshop

Assessment:
• Online multi choice exam
• Practical assessment, involving calibrating a vehicle in our work shop
