CAT/DPF & AdBlue

To become an Accredited Diagnostic Technician we offer a pathway of 11 one day courses, followed by a two day accreditation. The courses are designed to lead in to each other, but can be taken individually as singular, stand-alone courses to enhance your skill set if preferred or required. You can also choose to sit the courses and not continue to the final accreditation if you wish.

This course details Catalytic convertors & DPF, including Diesel additive systems, AdBblue & the new GPF systems.

Subjects covered include:
• Fault diagnosis on DPF systems
• Understanding the relationship between different sensors, vehicle components and how it can affect the DPF
• Look into how fuel additive systems work and the chemical reaction with AdBlue
• The use of exhaust temperature sensors and the importance of the information they provide
