Diagnostics by 4 Gas Analyser

To become an Accredited Diagnostic Technician we offer a pathway of 11 one day courses, followed by a two day accreditation. The courses are designed to lead in to each other, but can be taken individually as singular, stand-alone courses to enhance your skill set if preferred or required. You can also choose to sit the courses and not continue to the final accreditation if you wish.

Content
An eye opening course gaining an understanding of exhaust emissions and how to analyse them correctly first time. Gain knowledge of how a Catalyst works; as once this is understood diagnosis is so much easier.

This course focuses on how to interpret readings and diagnose cat faults, air leaks, mixture control issues, understanding oxygen sensors, the importance of oxygen in the exhaust and what it does. Hydrocarbon & Carbon Oxygen analysis is shown as a very inaccurate way of diagnosing most emission related faults.
