HABC Level 2 Safe Moving & Handling

Who is it for?
This course will enable candidates to understand how to improve their handling techniques to avoid injury so it is particularly suited for those starting a new job, returning to work or who need specific manual handling training.

Prerequisites
​Candidates must be physically able to carry out the procedures detailed in the course outline and the practical assessment.

Course Content Includes
• How the body works when lifting
• The importance of risk assessments
• Types of equipment used in handling
• Practical ways in which to lift

Qualification
HABC Level 2 Award in Moving and Handling (1 Credit).
