IMI Level 3 Award in MOT Test Centre Management

This is a two-day compulsory course for prospective MOT Managers. Those who are responsible for the operations of MOT stations (e.g. site managers) will also benefit from attending.

• Supporting acts and regulations
• Retests and fees
• Classes of vehicle subject to the MOT test
• The MOT test content
• Nominated Testers
• Testing equipment
• Testing by appointment and/or demand
• Documentation
• Damage/third party liability
• Quality control
• Use of testing assistants
• Security

Qualification

Upon completing the course, candidates will be awarded a qualification by the awarding body.
With this qualification, they can then apply to the DVSA to become an authorised examiner (AE).

There are no eligibility criteria for this course.
